All participants in the Grissom Army JROTC program will be assessed an annual fee due within the first 3 weeks of class. This fee covers some of the costs associated with co-curricular activities, Cadet Mixer (if held), and Cadet formal Ball. There will be a fee of $30.00 for the first student in a family. For families with two or more participating children, there will be an $50.00 maximum family fee. Payment allows the student(s) to participate in all co-curricular activities offered that school year. This fee is nonrefundable unless an unavoidable circumstance arises which removes the student from the program within the first 8 weeks of class. Removing Cadets for failing to meet minimum standards does not constitute an unavoidable circumstance.
Parents and students should understand that this fee does not guarantee participation time in competitions, performances, leadership roles, positions, etc. These decisions will be made by the Senior Army Instructor (SAI) and Army Instructor (AI).
Make payments made by check or money, payable to the Grissom Army JROTC program. Students who are eligible for free or reduced lunch may be approved for a fee waiver after verification.
